Ingredients
4 cups almond slivers
1 1/3 Gem cups sugar
8 Egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp butter
 
     
Instructions
1. Grind almonds and sugar in a blender.
2. Beat egg whites with vanilla; gradually add to almond and sugar mixture.
3. Rub butter on two baking sheets.
4. Spoon 1 tbsp of batter for each cookie onto baking sheet (about 2 inches apart from each other).
5. Bake in preheated over at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
6. Remove cookies from baking sheet and allow to cool.
