Prunes wrapped in smoked bacon

Perfect for canap├ęs at dinner parties or to serve as a starter. This simple recipe is more commonly know as "devils on horseback". Top tip for these is, to prepare in advance and pop in the oven half an hour before serving.

Method

1. Pre-heat the oven to 190°C.
2. Cut each rasher in half. Wrap each half around a prune, secure with a wooden skewer and place onto a baking tray.
3. Bake for approx 30 minutes or until the bacon is cooked. Place onto a decorative serving tray and serve.
