Low-Fat Seafood Chowder

This seafood chowder and creamy and filled with flavour but without the guilt. It's also very filling as it's packed with protein and fibre. Perfect for all the family.

1. Sauté the onions & garlic in butter and add salt as desired. Add seafood and cook for 3 minutes.

2. Add all other ingredients, except for milk. Add water to cover all ingredients by 1 inch (about 940ml). Season to taste.

3. Cook on low heat (perfect for slow cooker) for about 6 hours. Let rest for 30 minutes with no heat.

4. Stir in milk and serve.


  1. 1 fillet of sea bass, diced
  2. 12 medium prawns
  3. 12 medium mussels, steamed
  4. 340g potato, diced
  5. 50g carrots, chopped
  6. 200g celery, diced
  7. 150g onions, chopped
  8. 3 cloves of garlic
  9. 200g butternut squash, cubed
  10. 1 tbsp salted butter
  11. 1 tin of sweetcorn
  12. 350ml of skimmed milk
